BRBK and Crèche during August

There will be no BRBK during the month of August. We will provide a table near to the stained-glass window which will have wordsearches, colouring activities and other simple crafts available for children.

Also, in terms of creche, due to reduced helper numbers, there will be a space in church during August, with baby toys near the stained-glass window for parents to feel free to use. In addition, the crèche room will be available for parents who might prefer a quiet space. During August, we would ask that crèche and BRBK children are kept under parental supervision whilst in church.

The services will have a children’s story near the beginning, and services could include a sermon, and we have external speakers coming to help on some of the Sundays.

BRBK and crèche will resume full service on Sunday 7th September 2025.

Baptist Family Picnic - Sunday 31 August

On Sunday 31 August you are invited to join with our friends from Trafalgar Road Baptist Church and Life Community Baptist Church for an informal "Baptist Family Picnic” in the Horsham Park. Please bring your own picnic and something to sit on and join us on the grass between the pond and North Parade Car Park. Jon White from TRBC will be bringing a football for anyone who’s up for an inter-church football match but please be assured this will primarily be a relaxed time of fellowship together as the Baptist family in Horsham.
We will aim to meet together at 12:30pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Coffee, Cake & Company

We are starting to meet again on Monday 1st September and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back. Blessing from Jill, Mary & Jackie.

Request for Pastoral Help

Paul and Cherrie, Carol Mansfield's son and daughter, have asked if there any members of the congregation who would be willing to visit and sit with Carol during her carer's two hour daily break between now and the end of October. There is a particular need for cover on Saturday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm and also from the start of September on Wednesdays and the occasional other day, again from 2pm to 4pm.  If you are able to offer help on one or more days please email cherriemansfield@hotmail.com with your availability and any questions you may have.
Saturdays have now been covered but help would still be appreciated for Wednesday afternoons.

BMS Birthday Scheme

Celebrating birthdays this coming week are Angela Smallwood on Tuesday 26th, Sarah Davey on Thursday 28th, Celia Steer and Louise Carter on Friday 29th and Greta Baker on Sunday 31st August.
